2010 Crystal Journey with David Hickey

David Hickey will be the first resident artist on the land as he will perform for us every evening, rain or shine. David's deep connection with the natural world comes through in his music. The performances take place in two 40 to 50 minute sets. David's usual set up includes 15-20 quartz crystal bowls, 8-10 Paiste Planet gongs, a vibraphone and an assortment of other tuned percussion instruments. Nothing is amplified, pre-recorded or rehearsed. Each set and performance is sonically pure and unique.

There will be a performance every evening, from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm with plenty of time before and after to connect with the artist. The Centre will be open all week from 3:00 pm to the end of the performance. Bring your own crystal bowls to tone on the land. Even though we don't have a café (yet) on site, feel free to bring food and use our rest area. Our wish is to have you re-connect, re-wild and re-wire to simply be and enjoy the 'here and now'. David will have all his Crystal Journey products on sale at the Centre. Cost: $25 per person. Donations of $10, $20, $30 for the Centre welcomed.
